Kaluya wins Oscar for Best Supporting his own starring movie???

One of the worst, low budget Oscars in recent memory took place and not many cared to watch it. Don't believe us? check out the ratings report  or this ratings report   or this ratings report

But those of us who did watch, did so hoping to see the late Chadwick Boseman win for (it doesn't matter) He deserved a post humorous award just as the late Heath Ledger did for The Dark Knight. But instead, Boseman did not win and Daniel Kaluya, who was the star of his own movie, Judas and the Black Messiah, won for best supporting actor......what?????

Wikipedia defines a supporting actor as...

supporting actor is an actor who performs a role in a play or film below that of the leading actor(s), and above that of a bit part. In recognition of important nature of this work, the theater and film industries give separate awards to the best supporting actors and actresses.

See where we have highlighted, below that of the leading actor. Daniel Kaluya was the leading actor, but he got a supporting award. I guess they are smarter than we are, because that makes zero sense.

Kaluya was the star of his movie, so how does he get nominated as a supporting actor along with his supporting actor LaKeith Stanfield. So are they telling us that Judas and the Black Messiah starred 2 supporting actors?

That's like saying Jack Bauer was nominated for an Emmy for best supporting actor for 24 or Kim Kardashian was nominated for best supporting actress in Keeping Up With The Kardashians or Denzel for best supporting actor for Malcolm X.

Oscars have become irrelevant, political, out of touch and tone deaf. The people have spoken.

Akon building futuristic cities in Africa: First Senegal, now Uganda

The Ugandan government has allotted a square mile of land for Akon to build his futuristic city that runs on his AKoin stellar based cryptocurrency. The musician turned mogul previously built a similar city in his native Senegal and is looking to duplicate the formula in Uganda.

Zack Snyder's Justice League NEW trailer ******

The Next Man or The Arab Conspiracy or Double Hit (Sean Connery plays an Arab Minister????)

Sir Sean Connery is gone, but not forgotten. The iconic Scottish actor is best known for playing British secret service agent James Bond and establishing the character for others to follow. He won an Oscar for The Untouchables, playing an Irish veteran cop, who mentors Kevin Costner's Elliot Ness.

He has played a Russian in The Hunt for Red October and an adventurer who calls Africa home in his last movie, the underappreciated League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Now we get to The Next Man, a movie about an Arab minister, played by Mr. Connery who ruffles feathers with his radical ideas and makes enemies. Its a good movie that many have lambasted and thrown in the trash heap, but it's worth a look.

Now if this movie had come out today, the social justice warriors would have accused Hollywood of whitewashing and demand an Arab actor play the lead. But the question I'm sure was asked back then ….."How many times can Omar Shariff play the Arab in movies?????? "

Whitewashing is a real thing, as was satirically done in Tropic Thunder. In that movie, Robert Downey Jnr plays an Australian actor who takes the role of a black actor and is called out by the only other black actor in this fictional  movie that was being made.

Acting is about selling the audience on a premise and for about 2 hours making us believe. Sean Connery played an Arab minister with a Scottish accent and for the run time, you didn't even notice it.
