WW84 HURTS!!!
WTF!
What if I told you I shelled out $15 to watch Wonder Woman 1984 on HBOMAX and 30 minutes in, I was trying so hard to avoid the obvious conclusion.....this movie is gonna suck! It was like eating a cheese snack, but pretending it was an actual meal. Silly and quite frankly, should only be watched as a streaming movie.
Can you imagine risking Covid 19 exposure in a movie theatre to watch this disaster?
What was good? Pedro Pascal, period full stop.
What was bad? Direction, general storytelling, the year 1984
What was worse? Kristen Wig
What was ugly? The CGI in this movie
What was ok I guess? Chris Pine
What was the Saving grace? I actually got to see what else HBOMAX has to offer, I love Succession and started getting into Lovecraft Country
Finally, somebody please tell Patty Jenkins (director and screenplay) to go watch Wonder Woman, because it seems she forgot who the character was.

Idris Elba and Bond Producers meet to discuss being offered the role of Bond. We think the conversation went something like this.
Bond Producers: "Idris, we would love you for Bond, this is the right time..."
Elba: " Right time for what?"
Bond Producers: "You know"
Elba: "No I don't know"
Bond Producers: "A black Bond"
Elba: "I'll pass, don't want to be the "black bond" it's kinda corny"
(Sir Sean Connery' sends a text message to Elba while he is talking with the producers....text reads..."hey laddie, don't forget the money"....

There's NO leadership in this country! I have been sick to my stomach since i watched the murder of #GeorgeFloyd and to hear this president tell it’s citizens that they should be shot at because people are upset, feel unheard and abandoned by the very people who have sworn to protect them is nothing short of hatred.
My heart bleeds for my children especially my son. This unfortunate situation can happen to anyone irrespective of your education, job or economic state. So please miss me with that BS of they are looting, destroying things, Trump is not a racist. If you think that this man's death is justifiable by any means kindly do yourself a favor by removing yourself either by unfriending, blocking and deleting me!
And to the African people who continue to turn blind cheek and keep mute when such atrocities happen... hear this:
Your children whom you are raising in this country (which happens to be better than the ones you all left behind) and don't happen to know their African roots, when you're dead and gone will become part of the African American community and will not be set apart or treated any differently in such situations!
I will continue to add my voice and support the African American community because I see myself in them...i am them and they me. They endured it all so I can walk down the streets and live a comfortable life.
As for those in Africa who continue to support Trump all in the name of jokes or he speaks his mind, he says it like it is, he was chosen by God to fulfill a prophecy... the ramifications of his actions falls on your hands as well and stop using religion as an excuse.

We laughed at Coronavirus......It said "Hold my beer"

The Coronavirus is officially a global pandemic. Special thanks to all the people that made this possible, which is all of us. From our cavalier attitude towards the virus, to certain people trying to politicize it and even worse for those who have chosen and will chose to profit from it.
Very special thanks goes to the inhabitants of Earth, who refuse to wash their hands, cover their mouth when they sneeze or cough and generally don't care about anyone but themselves, as has been proven by pathetic displays of stockpiling essential supplies that we all need. Shame on us.
Many thanks to the scientists that more than likely created this virus in a lab and let it get out of hand. Everybody wants to be God and create, but nobody wants to stay around for the cleanup.
Gone are the reporters and journalists that will put their lives on the line to find the truth, gone are the heroes who will fight for the common man and put his or her life on the line to find the truth. No longer do we have leaders that will do everything in their power to find the truth. All we get is spin spin spin and a lot of wagging the dog.
I'll end with this, recently I traveled back stateside after a well needed vacation. I had a layover in Amsterdam and entered the US via Detroit and then landed in my final destination, Baltimore.
I was shocked at the lack of urgency of not only customs officials, but also security screening at ALL the airports. No sense of urgency and no extra measures to test who has a fever or who needs to be quarantined, it was business as usual. If asking me " Have I been to China, recently?" is the extent of the screening, then we are in trouble.

6 reasons African men are now soft ( written by an African man)
With the Coronavirus still causing havoc on the planet and the number of dead and infected still rising, we decided to ask the question.....what happened to the angry African man?
All over the news there are horror stories of Africans being discriminated against in China and all over the world. There is a video of four Chinese men beating one African man mercilessly, while other Africans watch and beg them to stop.
What the hell is going on? Your man is getting his a** whipped by four Chinese men, with not one of them being named Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee, and all y'all are gonna do is beg and record it for YouTube??? Where my Mandingos at? Where Django at?????
The video is a tough watch, we recommend you go somewhere else to go watch that, we are not showing that here.
To see the other African men, who could have jumped in to even the odds, instead choosing to beg like paupers, is sad and depressing.
No anger, no rage, just fear. Watching the video confirmed what I had always suspected, that the African man, of which I am one, that stood tall despite being enslaved, killed, maimed and humiliated, is dead.
6 Reasons why African men are now soft (in no particular order)
1. They have achieved biracial intimacy without fear of being lynched
2. They have gotten their education and feel a sense of fulfillment
3. They have seen what happened to the angry Africans that came before them, i.e. killed, maimed, psychologically clipped, and they want no part of that
4. They are ashamed to be black and tend to agree with policies that do not benefit their community, but benefit themselves
5. They are making more money than their fathers ever did and money buys a lot. Why be angry or informed when you can drown it with all kinds of vices and things you can't take with you when your time is up
6. They have been programmed to hate their fellow African based on where their villages are on some imaginary compass.
AFRICAN 1: "He is from the North, so I hate him"
AFRICAN 2: "God punish your forefathers"
NEUTRAL 3: " But aren't you guys from the same country"

* Biden answering Tapper's question and agrees with his opponent
* Sanders showing more passion than Biden, blasting the pharmaceutical companies and the anticipated profit they are expecting
* Biden references his time as VP to Obama during the Ebola crisis and crushes Sanders universal healthcare plan by saying that they have universal healthcare in Italy and it didn't work and doesn't work
* Sanders comes back and says that people should not be afraid to go to hospital because of cost, Biden reassures that nobody will pay out of pocket, to treat the virus, Sanders still maintains we still suffer from not having universal healthcare and eliminating the healthcare industry.
* Sanders blasts Biden for his campaign being funded by the healthcare industry, Biden pivots away from the response by not addressing the accusation directly.

* Sanders was reminded that he voted against a bailout because the banks were bailed out and people were not. Biden voted for the bailout and said people would have lost everything if the banks were not bailed out. Biden also states the auto industry had to be bailed out too. Both agree that somebody back then should have gone to jail for causing the financial meltdown.
* Biden is against a wealth tax of the wealthy 1% proposed by Sanders
* Question from Colderon, about would immigrants feel safe enough to seek treatment under either candidates regime... Both seems to agree that nobody should be turned away, legal or illegal.
* Sanders was reminded about his health issue i.e. heart attack and what he is doing to stay safe, being 78.....states some of what he has been doing to stay safe including washing hands, shaking hands ..jokes about not shaking hands with Biden. * Both are bringing up negative ads against each other and past comments. Sanders is stating that Biden wanted social security cut, Biden initially says no, but Sanders is going for the jugular, starting to sound like a lawyer that has Biden on the stand. Sanders tells the audience to go check "the Youtube" for clips of Biden stating he would eliminate social security.
* Biden is asked about Sen Warren's bankruptcy plan and agreeing with it. Biden supports Sanders plan, but Sanders is not having it.....Sanders said public colleges should be free and proud about his leadership and says its good to see that Biden is finally coming around.
* Both agree that the minimum wage should be 15/hr. Sanders and Biden exchanging what bills they voted for and the repercussions. They are harping on gay marriage as if they are trying too hard to pander.

How does Matt Reeves Bat mobile stack up against it's predecessors?
This first photo looks cool and all, but just like the actor assigned to playing this iconic character, the car looks lightweight, slick and is really fast, but offers no protection, no power, no fear.

The overhead shot makes it even worse. This is supposed to be a young man ready to fight crime and he chooses this lightweight vehicle to do what....impress girls?

Now this is a bat mobile. A tumbler/tank able to defend itself , but cause mayhem and chaos. Seeing the Batman coming at you in this, will make you walk away from a life of crime.

Not quite as functional looking as the tumbler, but you are crime fighting when you are driving down the street in this. Looks like a jet fighter converted into a car...might be a little tight in there though...

Real reason NO TIME TO DIE was postponed.....again!!!! (OPINION PIECE)
Headline alone, it looks like the producers of Bond decided to do the right thing and postpone this movie as a precaution, but when you look a little deeper, the upcoming curtain call for Daniel Craig was doomed from the start. Plagued by delays, in house conflict over the script and direction between previous director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting) and Craig and desperate attempts to appease the #metoo movement by making Bond a stripped down, inferior clone of what he used to be. Craig and the producers even banned the term " Bond girls" long used to describe Bond's acquaintances on his missions. During Craig's turn as Bond, he has willingly allowed the character to be stripped of his womanizing, globetrotting mayhem, sarcasm, fun and charisma.
So what do you do after stripping a character bare bones? How about replace him while he is in his prime. Bond still makes billions of dollars, so the notion that he needed to be re branded is baffling. The final slap in the face to Bond fans, of which I am one, was the rumor that the new 007 would be a woman, a black women to be played by Loretta Lynn (Captain Marvel) "What?! Oh no you didn't!?"
The rumor caused a shock and awe effect that backfired. Instead of it gaining support, it received mostly criticism. For years there had been calls for the next James Bond to be played by Idris Elba (Luther, The Wire), a black actor who many felt would take the character to the next level of evolution. But instead the producers dismissed the notion and allowed the misstep to fester, opening the door for racist comments about Elba being too street to play Bond. They might as well have said Bond can't be black, but if we absolutely have to do it, Bond can be a black woman. How woke!
There is no proof of this, but our guess is Bond producers did the math and with a month to go to the release date, they realized there was minimal buzz about the upcoming movie. It wasn't trending long at #1 after the title release, nor after the teaser trailer, full trailer or even after Grammy winner Billie Eilish recorded the soundtrack .......NOTHING. Bond, who had survived Austin Powers, Jack Ryan, Jason Bourne, XXX, Egsy, and Ethan Hunt, has now been undone by suits in the back, who lack the imagination to create an iconic character, but sure know how to ruin one.
So don"t let the postponement of this movie due to the virus be the headline, this delay is merely a Hale Mary to save a movie that was going to under perform or even flop.

Baltimore Ravens phenom Lamar Jackson has been voted first team all pro by 47 out of 50 pollsters, despite having one of the greatest single seasons a quarterback has ever had. Who are the notable omissions?? Former Colts GM Bill Polian.
Polian does not vote for Lamar.......
Polian had previously stated that Jackson was a running back not a quarterback, prior to him being drafted. Polian later apologized and admitted he made a mistake. Well obviously, he has not gotten over that with his latest act of not voting for Jackson, when even a blind man could feel how dominant Jackson has been.
